Houses

Te Totara has four houses, each named after spacecraft, which continues our STARS theme through the school. 

They are:

Discovery (Green)

Apollo (Yellow)

Mercury (Red)

Challenger (Blue)

Using houses enables the students to compete against each other in sports and other events and allows for leadership opportunities for older students.

On enrolment children are placed in a house, family members are placed in the same house.Each house has four house leaders.  Their responsibilities are to help organise their teams and coordinate events, be good ambassadors and help around the school.  They are selected after applying for the role, it is so hard to choose with so many fantastic students.
